Egregious hats, part 1

I have this inexplicable tendency to make outfits based on scenery – a habit which I think has served me well, but whose manifestations sound slightly odd when verbalised, e.g. “this view of the horizon with the trees and shore would look great on you!” I remember saying something to that effect mentally to the Elegant Elven Quiver, which had been bought on a whim one day and promptly stowed away on the hobbit storage alt for weeks. Stepping into the gorgeous (but hilariously buggy) Flight to the Lonely Mountain raid environment made me dig it out again and give it a fancy hat. And not just any hat, but a wimple.

Easterlings? What Easterlings?

Feeling heroic is that much more difficult with sloshy waterlogged boots.

Watch, as I put a clothyard shaft through his wishbone.

Glorious mez-breaking. It never gets old.
