Violence in the name of armoured skirts

I have never much been a fan of PvP because it tends to bring out the worst in people; the impression I got from one expansion’s worth of it was that the majority of PvP-ers would never set foot in the Ettenmoors again if they were given a field full of rapidly-respawning infamy/renown nodes and a pick. I was beyond happy when I finally got my hands on the captain leg piece to complete this outfit, after very wisely going unranked into the moors as a captain at the height of Update 9; this is the equivalent of challenging hungry lions to single combat while armed with a stuffed toy and wearing a suit made of barbecue sauce. Diatribe aside, some of the PvP armour pieces really are well-designed, distinctive and versatile, even though it looks like they were made by someone who mistook rope for thread.

The essentials of captaining: impressive stick and get-up, good rugged jawline…

Lungs of iron for mobilising those maggots – I mean, your allies…

Good cheerleading skills a must.

Delegation of work is important so you can AFK and /follow others during raids, and still look busy.
