Final round of abuse

I couldn’t resist dressing my poor Warden up in metal plates again one last time, complete with a pointy metallic hat. Call it penance for not having designed much in the way of heavy armour/guardian-esque outfits, or just a terrible rationalisation for abusing characters. I also assure you that East Angmar is a perfectly fine location for taking pictures, and not full of noxious fumes or shambling horrors at all (some landscapes just like to think they’re clever by being post-apocalyptic and generally blasted). Anyway. I ended up with the feeling that this outfit was halfway between Dwarf guardian and Elf Warden, and that the overall flavour ultimately came down to the choice of pieces used for the shoulders and helm – to speculate a little, pieces from this set would probably make it work better for dorfs, but the loss of proportion between the hip and shoulder plates might be a tad unsightly.

Is this thing on?

Das gratuitous lens flare.

Das annoying un-removable motion trails from animations after the launch of HD.
