Renewed shall be terminology that was broken

I went to watch the second installment of The Hobbit (with its glaring lack of Attercop and surfeit of Hollywoodness), left feeling slightly disappointed, and proceeded to stumble into a store near the cinema that sold comic books, Lego, and other nerd paraphernalia. Nesting somewhere in the shelves was an action figure of Aragorn, or perhaps the proper term is “replica” since it didn’t have moving parts (I’m not sure you can make a replica or a model of an imaginary person, and still make logical sense. Since the referent isn’t real, and all). What it did have was this marvellous grey and burgundy outfit, with a not-quite-Viggo Mortensen face; I can’t seem to find a picture of it though. So I made this instead, which is hopefully a fair enough likeness reconstructed from memory.

Head: Hat of the Ancient Tongue, default (Mirkwood Rune-keeper dungeon set)

Shoulders: Brawler’s Arms, violet (Fornost heavy armour, available at skirmish camp classic vendor)

Back: Cloak of the Raven, burgundy (Harvest festival cosmetic)

Chest: Cry of the West Breastplate, crimson (Ost Dunhoth Captain set)

Hands: Vibrant Calenard Battle Gauntlets, grey (Tier 7 crafted, metalsmith)

Legs: Steel Leggings, burgundy (Tier 3 crafted, metalsmith)

Feet: Hill-man’s Cracked Leather Boots, burgundy (Dunland quest reward)
