Solutions arrive precisely when they mean to
I’ve been wanting to use the Elf-Queen’s dress in an outfit for the longest time, but never got around to doing so until now. One reason would be that I never managed to find something that adequately matched the marvellously intricate texture, or the very muted hues that any dye produces with it. Most cloaks and shoulder pieces ended up looking too bold in comparison, and trying to get around that issue by having everything except the dress in bold colours didn’t quite work (or at least I couldn’t pretend hard enough that everything fit together nicely). Thankfully, someone designed a cloak to go with this year’s spring bathrobe, which has inadvertently proved to be the missing piece of the puzzle, after a mere six years(?) or so.
